Riyad Aliyev, a former co-owner of the private Teffekur university
The president and his family decided to appropriate the university and told me that I must give them my share. I said no. As a result, a criminal case was instituted against me. My friends advised me to leave and helped me leave the country.
When I saw my picture on the database of the Interpol www.interpol.int I got very scared. I started looking for someone who would help me and found the website of the Collegium of lawyers. They helped and now I am not on the international wanted list anymore.

Extradition
Valeriy, ex-deputy mayor
I got lucky that I got warned about the criminal case open against me. The charges were typical for my case – “misuse of official position” and “bribery”. There was no point in proving my innocence, so I left for Czech Republic. Interpol, extradition request, police coming to my place – I thought it was the end.
But the professionals from the International Collegium of Lawyers helped me and now I am working as a director of a small factory which produces building materials in the south of the Czech Republic. My family is with me and it is such a pleasure to see my son succeeding in hockey.

Support
Anatoly, ex-director of the regional customs office
We all had been arrested with the aim to beat out the testimonies against our boss from us. Those who testified were released. Those who didn’t were sentenced to 12 years with confiscation. I chose another way – to leave the country and that is why I was put on the international wanted list.
My friend knew a lawyer who is now working for the International collegium. It has already been two years since I became a citizen of a European country, legally changed my name and surname, and am not only able to work but also travel all around the world. Those who stayed in the country have already been through half of the sentence. I try not to forget them and send money to their families.
